should be a wire thats supposed to be connected to a parking brake switch..just ground it...

that sounds right cause he just took a black wire and put it on a switch with another wire so I am able to watch mine

the wire is usually green...at least it was on my avx2 and panasonic cq vd 7003

the harness has two grounds. one by itself, and one going into a fused box with the acc wire (thicker gauge ground wire here). right below this pin is an empty slot. take out the cellular mute wire and put it in this empty pin. then ground this along with the parking brake wire.

that's the bypass for the D3, thanx anywayz. I thought that the D2 didn't play DVD's?

nope. that is the bypass for the d2. i did it last week on mine. the d3's is to depin the cellular mute wire and move it down one pin. the d2's (like i said in my post above) is to take an unneeded wire (like the cellular mute) and place it in the only empty pin (the one below the ground). and ground that.

the d2 does not play dvd's. but, if you hookup and external source that does and expect to play it, the gps antenna will sense the car moving and not let you see video. the bypass stops this from occuring
