why would they want something tuned that high. the loss of low end would be too much IMO...
really just what the are recommended at, i would ask DJ the owner himself...

from everything i have heard these still do great on the low-end despite the tuning

I tuned my box to 36hz and it has excellent output in the 30hz range. 40 hz is recomended for all of there drivers and they work very well in the rec box. No loss of output on the lows.
