no, it really doesnt, 36-40 is the recommended tuning for AQ subs

i dont think he has used AQ subs or knows much about them, so thats why i was telling him the best tuning range for said subs

(dont talk too much shit, u only live 10 min away fyi)

You have a very nice setup. I used to have 2 HD3 15's and 2 AQ 2200's in 8 cubes tuned to 40hz. I went from them to 2 HDC3 18's and on the same power it is 3 db's louder on my MIL meter. You could save some space and money going that route but 4 15's should be a little louder, if you have the room.
