*VID* 2 10" D6's in a TCAB .....finally got metered..

yea i know bass boost is bad but i dont have a head unit with sub level stuff so i need that bass boost on my amp or else the subs barely are audible no joke
it could just be that you aren't getting enough voltage out of the LOC... so you have to crank everything up. Its possible... the Q is how much louder can it get //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

tell you what, if you can build me a ported box for my rl-p's, tuned to 30-32 hz, that will fit in my ***** am without removing the back seats, or completely blocking the back window, i'll GLADLY give ya 300 bucks.

I meant, it DID get loud //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
One of the nastiest trunks I've seen.. and its still pretty dam loud for the equipment being used. Doesn't sound too bad either.

Some new front speaks, a real head unit (lol) and it would be a pretty sweet setup //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

too late //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

It was a shipped box... so I have no idea how it sounded. Happy customer, but you never know how loud it actually is.

I've also worked in a handful of the late 90's, early 00 mustangs.... same story.

The vids and pics account for a small fraction of the actual boxes I build and ship - the great majority get shipped all over the place.

i still think it can be done, if i took the sealed box that i built, made the same box but brought it up to the backs of the back seats, it would give me well over 5 cubic feet. the only problem is where and how to position the ports. do you sell plans also, or only complete boxes?

boxes only - and that is the biggest issue... the port location. There is no room for a good, SOLID design.

Make sure you leave plenty of room for a decent size port.
I'd say 2 10's is the absolute most you can stuff in.

im aiming at 2 10 inch D6's like this guy. that would be awesome. would two 4 inch aero ports be good for this? (would prolly use PVC for comformability)

is this too much port, or just enuff or what?
