2) yes....but when your hitting 144 and then go to 147 it is basically inaudible unless your a TL.

last year i went from a 145.0 to a 147.1, same note..... the difference was extreme.

however, i can't tell the difference from a 150 to a 154:eyebrow:

 
im aiming at 2 10 inch D6's like this guy. that would be awesome. would two 4 inch aero ports be good for this? (would prolly use PVC for comformability)
is this too much port, or just enuff or what?
it 100% depends on your design. I'm not sure what these woofers will do in many situations with the limited experience I have with em.

It does take alot more once you get SO loud for you to be able to tell... especially when your not used to it. To a noob, a 152 burp...come back 30 mins later and 155 burp... it'll just go from hurting, to hurting //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. At that point, you just have to "feel" the difference, which is even less accurate than the ear. The only way you can even tell if there is an increase or not is to sit there and turn it up and down, from lets say a 151 to a 153.

I will say one thing, 150 @ the headrest @ 50hz is completely different than 150 @ the headrest at 35hz.

But yea... if your listening to 150+ at the head for any period of time, your insane to begin with //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

 
lol okay, those subs look like good subs and ive heard great things about the D6 series. and 141.1 or whatever it was is NOT a bad score for 2 10's.

how big and what tuning is this box?

there is more port area on the box than there is opening into the cabin - lmao

I can't wait until that rear seat folds down, I bet its got a 45+ in it.

 
thats about the size of the opening i had in the caddy. i removed the blockage, went from a 142.1 to a 146.1 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

 
yea "saywhat" i like my d6's....def a quality subwoofer......and like i said i upped the power to them and its def got atleast a 142 now...yea im working on folding down those back seats, and my horrible ground is gonna be fixed too..do u guys think that taking off the cap will get me more spl??? i dont think so but its worth askin i guess
