12" re SE making light rattling noise

Hey guys, I need some help here. Yesterday I started hearing some very light rattling noises coming from my SE. The only way I can think to describe it is that there is a little piece of something bouncing around inside the sub when it hits... Does anyone have an idea of whats wrong with it?

Tinsel lead hitting the cone? I would take it out and play it free air, and see if I could see something hitting the cone. Watch the gains though.

The sub makes the noise at all bass notes, and at all volume levels.

What is the tinsel lead? I have the sub mounted inverted so I shouldn't have to play it free air. I'm pretty sure the gain is fine, I'm using a jbl bp600.1 amp, and I've had this sub setup for almost 2 months, the gain is only set at 1/4

my xxx does with with higher bass, thats why i asked its weird tho cuz it will play low s hella hard and doesnt make that sound even tho its moving twice as much, i turned the lpf to 50hz and that helped a little

i think you might have just forgot something in your box (screw or something) and its rattling around in the box on the bass notes.

just letting you know cause it probaly isnt even a big problem like you think it is

Maybe you sucked something up the pole vent, and it's stuck.

i was able to see into the pole vent with my maglight today, theres a little black thing bouncing around indside the sub... I dont know how it got in there because there is a screen in the pole vent to keep shit out of there...

i had this happen to one of my mtx subs before. little piece of solder came lose in between dust cap and made an anoying sound.

well mine is still making this annoying sound and i took the dustcap off and it still does it, and i cant see anything thru the pole vent
