very small subs

i'm looking for something cheap that will get me some bass.

here's my thoughts:

two 6.5" drivers in my rear deck.

power options:

75W x 2 @ 4 ohms

125W x 2 @ 2 ohms

225W x 1 @ 4 ohms (bridged)

i'm looking at

Mach 5 : ~$50 shipped (pair)

Dayton Classic : ~$36 shipped (pair, on sale)

or stretch the budget for some actual "subwoofers"

Tang Band : ~ $82 (pair, spend $18 more for free shipping)

or i could go the other direction and get an 8" assassin and put it in a small box.

i think i'd kinda prefer the rear deck setup, but the assassin's look fun.

any ideas on how the output would compare (cheapo's vs. tangband vs. assassin)?

suggestions (please)?

yeah, that's what i was thinking. i could spare a little extra for them. i'd rather not be disappointed.

got a good review from jmanpc, and they'd make the install a bit easier (no need to make adapters, should end up with more solid fit).

anyone know how the 6x9 tang bands stack up with the 6.5" neo (that i've seen many people rave about)

i'm having trouble locating what type of formulas/parameters to look at to determine if a driver will work in IB, any help?

due to space i'd have to go for the 6" w/an adapter ring. looks like a great driver, but the low power handling and xmax leave me wondering if the output will be able to keep up with the TB's i'm looking at.
