that's a pretty tough decision man. if things are goin good for you now, i'd just stay there.
yea stuff is going very good here and i am a very well liked kid in my school, but i just wonder if i would have more opportunity down there in a huge city, and a much bigger school. i dont wanna be kicking myself in the *** for not going in 10 years.

George Bush came from Texas. I hear they have a pretty good education system down there.

just because your popular there doesnt mean you will be here.

i know kids who moved from a few cities over who were the "shit" at their school, and no body even noticed them at their new school.

yea thats what im afraid of lol. im not trying to brag or anything or prove anything over the internetz but in my school now im pretty much "the shit"

I had to make this same decision last year, my mom lives in Shreeveport, and at the time I lived with my dad in Hammond, well he was moving to Miami Beach. In the end I chose to stay in Hammond move in with my grandparents until I went off to college instead of moving with my dad, or going to live with my mom.

and alot of it depends on where in dallas you are...

Dallas ISD schools are a majority black.

Plano is full drugs

Rockwall is full of rich kids and drugs

and for the rest i cant really speak for....

I personally think it would wash. I've lived in STL most of my life, but the vast majority of my Dad's family hails from the Ft. Worth area. I can assure you there aren't too many good things to say about the area. One thing that is true is that St. Louis is an annoyingly "aspirational" city that has more arrogance that it should. Combine that with the fact that everyone knows everyone at about three degrees and it can be tiring.

Convince her to buy in Minneapolis. That's the place right now in terms of tech, women, and a great rural atmosphere twenty minutes out. One of my best frinds lives there with noting but good things to say. He's originally from Akron, moving here in '90, so he also is aware of the difference between two subpar choices.
