!VAN BOOM BOX ! help needed

Hi everyone,

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction,

Had speakers installed, sub, amp and headunit however finding I need more bass and clarity out off the speakers so they are not distorting as much..

Currently when I have it turned up quite loud for 20-30mins with bass booster on the amp cuts out and is super hot?

Current setup hyandia iload work van -

*JVC - KW-V220BT double din

*Alpine type S speakers each door with tweeters

*DB Drive - A6 1200w:4 channel amp

*Soundstream STEALTH-13 / slim sub

Ok so my project is to increase the bass and also have increased volume with clarity.

My options are due to space I can only put a sub In between cage barrier and the seats, fits perfectly and also have 2 x 6x9's on the rear door panel. Possibly using the current amp I have to run the speakers and buying another amp to run both subs.

What are your thoughts ?? Budget is I would like to spend roughly less than $1000 excluding the sub - however I don't mind spending more if it is going to make a huge difference.

What amp would I need for both subs?

What speakers would you recommend?

Is my current speakers and amp good enough?

Did you make a post about this before and now you just ignored everyone's advice on that other thread and basically asking the same question again? I know its you because you got the same db drive a6 and alpine type S.

The conversation started off with good advice than got turned down by other members than the topic started talking about someone else's sound system I think yours.

So instead of trying to get your post thread count up good advice is just what I want

Have you installed any of it? have you ever heard the type S speakers? They might sound good to you we can't make that decision as far as the subwoofers just go ahead and get your DVD drive on the same RMS output as the combined input power on the speakers. Db drive makes good stuff

Just to to sure which amp would do two off those subs -

Also instead of buying another amp for the speakers if I use that and just get a sub amp that can handle them both

its abit much for what you have but its a good idea just in-case you upgrade..
