Extra RMS through LC2i

I am using factory head unit, also currently running all factory mids and highs. I'm adding another amp to run door speakers in about 10 days. Meantime, I have a Massive N3 on a 4 ohm load 450 RMS mono pushing two 12 inch Massive UFO subs. Since I have factory head the stereo shop used a LC2i. Same place told me when I add the amp for door speakers they can use the same LC2i.

My question is, if I upgrade to stronger subs and lower impedance to 1 ohm to push 1400 RMS, will this over power the LC2i? It says it only handles up to 400 RMS. I don't see stronger a LCO. I am not hooking this up myself, and I am a newbie. Just making sure the guy at the shop knows what he is doing.

It doesn't make sense to me that a mono amp plus 4 channel amp could run through a single LC2i (2 channel) that is rated at 400 RMS per channel... Too many channels and too many watts??

Bro... The power rating refers to the power coming from your stock system feeding into the LOC. Has nothing to do with the power coming from your aftermarket amplifier choice.

Stock system -> LOC -> Aftermarket Amplifier -> Subwoofer or Components
