but miami is still up there. the 836 , i95 , bird road , ' calle ocho' , kendal drive and a few more....at 6-8 am / 4-7 pm , you are not getting anywhere any time soon. plus the retards who cant drive make it that much better.

I played a football game in Buffalo. I have never been so cold in my life! And they get 100 feet of snow every winter. Hell its 32sih here in albany now. Snowed two days ago. NYC, I kind of like the driving down there. Feels like youre racing or something. Have to be aggressive!! Lots of fine women too. miami sucks. weve been getting cold fronts back to back so the water will be in the lower 70's which is cold for people down here. but if youre a canadian and live on a snow farm then im sure youll love it.
i guess its great if youre only here on vacation and have money to spend. but the people **** , traffic is ****ing terrible , and 95% of people are realllly ignorant. cant wait till i move.

Why are you so set on Miami and South Beach? If you are looking for a nice time with your girl in a beach environment, there are places just as nice and much cheaper in Florida, Fort Myers Beach for example. The food, alcohol and accommodation are going to be much cheaper for a tourist there.

I would advise flying,, this drive is going to eat up vacation time unless you really want to see the countryside. You can drive to NYC and fly from there for around 240usd per ticket. In the long run that is going to be cheaper.

Why you worried about the canada/us border?? It is CANADA/US border and you are canadian.

Sounds like you have not traveled very much but thats ok!!

Alcohol anywhere is going to be much cheaper than what you are used to paying to dont worry about where you get it. Just try to buy it from grocery stores if possible. Will be a bit cheaper than dedicated liquor stores.

If you do end up driving,, which i think is a mistake, you are silly to take out your system. The system is one of the things that would make this long trip more pleasant. Just use common sense about where you park overnight and you will be fine. Try to park your car near the front entrance of your hotel.

If you do drive, sleeping at truck stops is super dumb. Why would you do this when you can get hotels almost anywhere on the way for like 30 dollars per night. A total extra cost of the whole trip of 60 us dollars i think you can handle and will be so much more pleasant, especially for your girl!! What are you thinking?? Romantic holiday where you stay in truck stop parking lots??

We, as canadian, hate winter. so going southern florida is the best way to get the sun back!

The University session finish on december 17th and start again mid january. We have almost a month worth so it's not a problem here. We already rent that studio and everything was perfect, we really wanted to reapeat this experience at least once.

At the same time, I didn't think that the airfare would be that expensive and I never pay for parking (normally just have a friend pick me up and drop me off.)
