V6 Mustang: question.

only v6 stangs worth doing motor work to are the new ones. They have some strong blocks in them and get FAST.

I wouldnt do anything to it really IMO maybe shift kit intake or some stuff like that.

BUT PLEASE do not put dual flowmaster or similar exhaust on it. I seriously hate the sound of a v6 like that.

wasting money on your piece of shit rwd taurus is gay. especially after you've spent twice as much as it would take to have upgraded to a GT and still get spanked... not to mention laughed at. get a clue.

I wouldn't put money into trying to make a base model Mustang a performance vehicle unless you just have money to throw away. I use my Stang as a daily driver. I put in a decent audio setup and called it a day. The '99 bodystyle is the same as my '00.

Well, i just got me a V6 stang. Got my RE XXX 15 awhile back but i may be selling it real soon, seeing it wont fit in the trunk without some damage. But thats another Thread,
Just wondering should i even mod my V6? is it even worth it? or should i just get another summer job and save up for a Cobra Just wondering.

i would suggest only exterior mods but only for yourself.

i don think u will benefit from it to much.

i see more and more moded cars selling for its own value or less.

for ex: 5k worth car, claiming another 10k on mods, being sold for l 4-6k

he had headers to a di/do flowmaster 40 to 3" tips. piping was 2.25" I believe and no cats

heres mine. I just have a si/do flowmaster 30 to 3" tips with no cats and stock size piping. Someday Ill get some headers, a cam, and run solely off hydrogen

unless you throw a turbo or supercharger in it's not worth it. Even then, you'd probably save money selling the 6 and just getting a GT or an LS1 car.

I know because I too have a gay 2000 v6 stang (that get's 19-20mpg so I might as well be driving an 8)
