I tried TVersity a while ago on my desktop PC, didn't work for me.

I'm gonna try WMP/Windows Media Connect later tonight when I get a chance.

couple settings you might have to toy with on Tversity, but as far as non HD content it works for me on the 360.

HD content i have yet to try because it works so well on the PS3

had the same problem. let me know if you need just the windows media connect software.

windows media center and windows media connect are different
also you cant official download windows media connect anymore, microsoft's answer is get wmp11

i still have the installation file on my computer for this very reason

can always put your laptop in the dmz on your router, that will open all the ports, i also suggest temporarily disabling your firewall to see if that makes a difference, i know i had problems when i was running zone alarm pro and tried to stream stuff. it could also be vista, however vista is suppost to have media connect or similar software built into it.
