Using HDD on Xbox360

Simplecenter or Tversity.
TVersity will transcode on the fly for most file types...

been using it for 720P on my ps3

I tried TVersity a while ago on my desktop PC, didn't work for me.

I'm gonna try WMP/Windows Media Connect later tonight when I get a chance.

couple settings you might have to toy with on Tversity, but as far as non HD content it works for me on the 360.

HD content i have yet to try because it works so well on the PS3

had the same problem. let me know if you need just the windows media connect software.

I gave up...messed with my firewall, opened up a bunch of ports, still wouldn't recognize my 360..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

can always put your laptop in the dmz on your router, that will open all the ports, i also suggest temporarily disabling your firewall to see if that makes a difference, i know i had problems when i was running zone alarm pro and tried to stream stuff. it could also be vista, however vista is suppost to have media connect or similar software built into it.
