only thing is i cant view pictures on this computer so tutorials like his i dont understand because i cant see pics. Anyways glue is on how long till i can remove the shims?

sounds good. I dont think i used enough glue on the surround part but i managed to get some in there and i think it went pretty well. Dust cap tomorrow!

it doesn't take much glue at all to build a woofer

A small bead on the spider landing, and a small bead on the surround landing.

We always do the spider and the surround at different times, do the spider first, push down in the middle of the cone and spray the accelerator.

Then we fold the surround into a clover and put glue on the surround landing. let the surround go and it flops right into place. Then we have 5 different size pieces of wood that are beleved to fit inside the surround and push out and down on them. Then you spray the activator and put a sub on top of the piece of wood....little time later you have a sub that just needs the d/c glued on and tinsels soldered.

We built 28 MT 18s once night in a little over 6 hours

i agree if you aren't totally confident on your reconing abilities.

We can tear a sub down, clean the basket, recone, and have it back in a vehicle playing in around 30 minutes taking our time
