Using a sub with no dustcap

yea it is as bad ideal becouse you have dust and dirt blowing all over dont do it it like a piston is in a a car if you get dirt in there it puts scratchs in there and you lose compresion same with a sub it becomes less eff. so yea bad ideal

really ? he folded the cone up too, because normally you still have your VC going into the magnet gap and not a whole lot of room for air to get through the gap. And the cone under the dustcap that came off wasnt moving either, or it was ported through a cone where the dustcap used to be, hmmmm.

get some glue and fix your BTL.
not if the motor has a pole vent //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

well I reglued the dustcap on and it still making the noise. Like something is hitting something else but I know for a fact that the isn't bottoming out, because it still makes the sound when the sub is barely moving and when I free air the sub too

prob dont have the cap glued down good enough, or didnt let it dry long enough if you didnt CA glue it.

I got two 6 inch dd carbon fiber dust caps. Id sell you 1 for $20 shipped. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif You will pay around $50 a piece from DD for them.
