Using a sub with no dustcap

I wouldn't think it would hurt it. You'd just be losing SPL from it.I've seen a couple people run it until they put the dustcap back on it.

What kind of sub is it anyway?
sub is a 12" fully loaded btl.

So I'll be fine running it like this for a day or two

Buddy of mine blew the dust cap off 1 of his 16 10"s turned out to be louder cause the one with no dust cap turned into a port //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

really ? he folded the cone up too, because normally you still have your VC going into the magnet gap and not a whole lot of room for air to get through the gap. And the cone under the dustcap that came off wasnt moving either, or it was ported through a cone where the dustcap used to be, hmmmm.

get some glue and fix your BTL.
