Using a Sim card phone on a GSM network?

I have two Motor Razr v3s sitting on my desk. They are Sim card phones. However the service provider I'm with now (Telus) is a GSM network. Is there any way to use one of the Razrs on the GSM network?

I have a Samsung A840 IIRC, its very basic and bland.... want something better but I don't really want to buy a new phone...(car audio>communikation.)

They should be on GSM band. What company were the razr's branded for?

Your Razr's probably are GSM devices, as a GSM network requires a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card.

Some network features may not be available, dependent on the branding of the device and whether it is locked or unlocked.
