Using a cap as a distro block?

I know a lot of people say caps are useless but instead of buying a bunch of distroblocks could i just use the top terminals of the cap? my lights dont dim or anything i just want to monitor my voltage and add more bass to the subs.

I would try a pair of Bass Blockers on the rear speakers. I always place them on Coax. speakers generally, Should help quite a bit I like PAC ones...
