Used t2 or new Type r?

t2+box for $400

or

Type-R for $200

Only want 1 sub in my car, have 400rms amp but soon to be 1000rms. I wanted the t2 because the room for getting a bigger amp.

Really? I wasn't that impressed with the type r's when I had them. But I had (2) 10'' of the original versions sealed....maybe that's why. My friend has (2) 12'' SE's sealed and I think they sound real good.

honestly with only 400 watts you need an efficient sub and i hate jl audio because of there pricing but a 13.5 w3 v3 would get loud with 400 watts

Yea but he said he is planning on upgrading to 1000 watts so he wants to go ahead and buy a sub that handle it.

I have reallly shittty luck with online purchases. everything I have purchased has been destroyed in shipping or DOA.

Will the T2 at 1000rms be louder than the Type R at 400? I think yes. But if thats a rip off($400), then I dont want to get it.

t2 with out box make your own or have one made to proper specs and as far as pricing make sure it works and it is used so i would pay about 200-250 tops and 250 if it is mint and not beat to death

why wouldnt it be T2 at 1000rms vs Type R at 1000rms then???

either way, the Type R will handle it better anyways if you have a proper box built for it... you won't see a true 1000 anyways

rms...rated, yes, peak handling, 1500....

you guys realllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly need to do some research on this site for Type R's... they can handle quite a bit of power if used properly.... probably one of the best performing subs out there for the money, hands down!
