SPL is going to be installation dependent.

RL-p's are not designed to be competition-level SPL drivers, though they have the potential for some good output in a daily driving setup. They're designed to be musical, first and foremost. Output is a secondary concern.

You'll enjoy the SQ and SPL you'll get from the sub. It should be in the 130 db area which is nice for a daily driver. Defaintly should feed your need.

Definatly a nice driver. I have the 15" version in a 2cu.ft sealed enclosure and it sounds great, very musical. As far as output it gets louder off the same watts as my friends 4 round solobaric 10's sealed. You should be very pleased with it as a daily driver and if you want spl and still retain some sq put it in a low tuned ported box.
