USB or AUX???

Which one is better sound quality in a new head unit.. I like the aux cause there cheap and from using friends they sound good, but i dont know much about the usb.. Which one is better?

I would say USB since the file would be processed by the Head Unit itself as opposed to having an external device sending an analog signal to the head unit and the head unit just sending the signal out to the speakers or amp. Essentially, using AUX input puts something else in between the signal and the amplification.

i have a head unit with AUX input, the CD player puts out cleaner music. i would say go with USB.

I have a aux on my HU but problem is I keep forgetting to turn off my mp3 player when I exit my vehicle and it would be dead when I returned so I'm going usb any day now,but to me the aux sounds great.
