USB HUs and HDD - External

I would like info for HUs that have direct USB and are compatible with powered External Hard Drives.

What works; Search options; Approx navigation speed, whatever info is out there.

This is the setup I would go with:

80GB or larger External 2.5 HDD

Dual USB cable one data, one power

USB Power Adapter

The HU I'm most interested in is the Kenwood KDC-X791.

I have a Kenwood DPX701 HU with USB port. I use an 80 GB Iomega Silver portable hard drive. It works great. I used the PhatNoise software that came with the HU to setup and install the music on the drive. Initial start up of the drive is slower than a flash drive, but not so slow to be annoying. The Iomega works well. I tried an I/O Magic and it would not work. Memorex would not disclose the power consumption of their portable drives, so I stayed clear of theirs.
