As title states.... Im looking at both of these amps.. Both same price range, both seem to have great build quality.. The amp will be ran at 1ohm, both are rated for it... ANyone have some good feedback..???//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

both are on the cheaper end (last sub amp i bought was an USMD3D) .. I was actually surprised to 2 find 2 fairly good 1 ohm stable amps could be had for under 5 bills.. I think i may go with the sundown just because i like the looks a little better... Its clean and looks like a big chunk of billet... I like metal.... :)

the us amps is pretty small footprint..

newer us amps arent worth a dammn
So you wouldn't run a Merlin or an AX series? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif I know the XT's aren't that great but don't down the rest of their amps. I have a MD22 I'm fixing and modding it to a MD23 and it looks like a nicely built amp. I can't wait to run it.

I'm not sure where you heard that Sundown amps are "dirty" but that cannot be farther from the truth. Many people, myself included, use them for SQ oriented installs.

The XT4000D can barely pass as a 900-watt amp, and tests have show thats about what it does.
