Any of you guys have alot of experience with the Xterminator series? Looking to find out if it will do .5 ohm daily //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif Something tells me it probably won't but what little bit of time I have had it, it has been bulletproof and doesn't even begin to get warm. I was also wondering if anyone has benched one to see exactly what they will do....seems to be some confusion as to what this amp is truly rated for (1200 or 1500?)

If I had to guess I'd say it's rating is pretty much dead on at 1500 watts since that is a "lower" line from US Amps. It probably won't do 0.5 ohms daily, for the same reason. But I have not used one myself to tell you for sure... just a guess based on the fact that it is not in one of their top lines.

One of the guys on Sound Solutions knows alot about US Amps... Flakko perhaps? He may know about bench results... try asking over there.

Thanks for the confirmation Flakko.....what about the questions about output? What do these thing really do at say 14v and 1 ohm?

According to the back of the box mine came in its rated for 1500w rms @ 1ohm, 14.4v

We had a customer bench one and he got 1380@ 14.4v, So this made us a little upset about what they claimed on the box. So we opened another and tested it at 1522@ 14.4v. yeah ive done several installs with the 2000 and 4000,they do good for the price,but i wouldn't recommend .5.
