US Amps warranty

My friend sold a us amp 2000 watt amp to a guy and had it hooked up and the installer said it didnt work, but my friend never hooked up the amp before it jus basically sat in his room and collected dust.

My question is does US Amps still honor their life time warranty. He was telling me that they have a lifetime warranty is this true.

He will be getting the amp back thursday so i will take a look at it, and we will take it to a local shop where he purchased it at and see whats up though
