Cleaning the amplifier may help it sell.

You should be able to use paper towels, microfiber cloths, water, car soap, wd-40, armor all, etc and q-tips to get the amp clean!

Love those amps btw. I bought a US-200 (red) back in 1998 and just gave it back to the place I bought it from last year. I now have a Kicker setup.

I sure bet your amp would sound great on a ID Max 15 sub.

u say not to get into it with u then say right before that"before running ur mouth" wow... listen i dont need a history lesson on us amps. i had one, they arent bad amps, i never said they were. i just said he was asking too much money for an antique of an amp. amps are not classic cars they are amps, with capacitors in them that have a very short life. yes they were underrated and another then u said that was right was ''BACK THEN they were among some of the best.'' this isnt back then, it is now. i dont get the big deal by giving dude a reality check and saying what hes asking was too much. am i not allowed to have an opinion. also if u think its so great why dont u buy it? i did say i wish home luck on his sale. i wasnt talking ****. hopefully he does find that one idiot to pay wayyyy to much for this amp. instead of getting into it with yall lets let the free market tell us what this amp is worth. plain and simple.
Well it's his amp and he can choose what he wants for it. When you have one, then you can choose what you want for it.

You think you know it all but really your crapping on OP's thread and arguing about it.

Specs are actually

200 x 2 @ 4 ohm

400 x 2 @ 2 ohm

600 x 2 @ 1 ohm

And 1200 x 1 @ 2ohm bridged

All at 12 volts and .002 thd

More at 14.4 with the unregulated power supply (around 1600 x 1 @ 2 ohm bridged but never 3200 x 1, that's vlx 400 power output there.

Was gonna say...he has the power specs on the 1st page/post. This is gonna confuse people.

No way the small amp does 3200 watts. I can see the 3x longer length amp doing that number though :p

Why i wrote non official specs at 14.4 done by iamsonic and wouldn't recommend running it daily. but its def possible on a burp. And yes the vlx400 is basically 2 of these strapped that is 1 ohm stable. Buts its the same concept of people running there 2k at 1 ohm amps like soundqubed at .5 ohm
