Thinking of buying a US Amp 50HC....the 1992/1993 model i believe.

does anyone know what this amp actually benches at? lookin for some true rms power...not the "rated" power.

thanks

Two Channel Class AB Amplifier

Total Power Output: 375 Watts RMS

Dimensions: (Including Terminals)

62mm / 2.44in High

229mm / 9.0in Wide

368mm / 14.50in Long

Weight: 3.63kg / 8.00lb

Variable 24dB Low-Pass Active Crossover

One-Half Ohm Stable

25 Watts x 2 into 4 Ohms

33 Watts x 2 into 3 Ohms

50 Watts x 2 into 2 Ohms

100 Watts x 2 into 1 Ohm

100 Watts Bridged into 4 Ohms

132 Watts Bridged into 3 Ohms

200 Watts Bridged into 2 Ohms

375 Watts Bridged into 1 Ohm

These are the ratings, but as we all know OS amplifiers ratings tend to be uhm QUITE underrated. I'd say at least multiply whatever the ratings are by about 1 to 1.5 x the listed rating. In most cases it might even be around 2 x the power...

Additinally, no need to reference "max" anything as those specs are useless. Most of know how to look at specs for a given speaker, amp, HU, etc...

Hello all. Used to come on these forum quite a bit. I used to compete in IASCA MECA etc. and placed 1st 2x with this setup. Anyway this is my baby...

You don't need two amps. The speakers come with crossovers to help protect the tweeters.

Perhaps you changed something without mentioning it here? Maybe a loose turn on line? I dunno man...but we'll take it. Hopefully it keeps working. 👍
