US amps PT-1100 ????

I found a US amps bass mekanic PT-1100 I can pick up for $200 is it worth it. I know that there rare and produce big power at 4ohms. Does anyone have any other info on them.

They are good amps, They wont run any lower than 4ohms stereo and 8ohms mono though. Thats the only reason I never liked them. Other than that, those older US Amps are great.

What shape is it in? Silver or Black?

Its the one with a single power supply that can be run @4ohms mono. Its black and probaly around an 8/10 condition wise. I think I will get just to have LOL.

I noticed it was a class T amp I am assuming thats why its so efficient.

Thanks for the info, the guy also has a pair of Diamond Audio TDX subs for sale also.

I could probaly get both for $400 but I have no use for the subs. I dont really have a use for the amp but thats different.

I went and got the amp today. I just have a quick question when I set the gains I wanna make sure this is right.

1000watts x 8 ohms = 8000 then sqrt. = 89.44 Volts ac is this right just seems really high i am assuming because I am running 8 ohms a higher resistance there for more voltage and less current.
