Item(s) for Sale: US AMPS MD2D

Item(s) Description/Condition:

I have a used but cosmetically/functionally flawless US Amps MD2D amplifier.

I purchased the amp new in 2005-ish and ran a single RE Audio 18" XXX for about 2.5 years. List price was around $850-875 at that time. The amp performed flawlessly and never gave me any problems. It was never sent into protection mode for any reason.

I had the Big 3 and a high output alternator installed prior to installing this amplifier. Voltage was always monitored and never dropped below about 12VDC.

The amplifier has sat on my shelf for the last 3 years now waiting to be reinstalled. That still has not happened and somebody else needs to put it to good use.

Specs from owners manual

1x400 Watts RMS @ 4 ohms

1x800 Watts RMS @ 2 ohms

I would trade for a nice pair of 7" Seas or ScanSpeak Revelators + cash one way or the other as needed. Not much else needed right now. Sorry.

if I would have seen this up 2 days ago I would have taken it my god.....
Oh sad. Enjoy whatever else you picked up.

Wish it was a little bigger... I just found are US Amps catalog at the shop and realised how nice these amps look
They make some nice stuff. 1800 watts powered my 18" RE XXX well but probably wouldn't be enough juice for solid SPL woofer.

maybe trade for a custom built sub?
Thanks for the offer but I don't need much right now. Sorry.
