US Amps MD2 at Ikesound

I noticed Ikesound is selling new US Amps MD2 amplifiers for only $299.00. I sent them an email inquiring about them and they said they call the amps MD2N (the N stands for "new"). This has me a little suspicious. I don't understand why a shop would feel the need to rename the model number of a product they are selling. Here is what they said:

"Sorry, we call it MD.2n because it is new, not the old MD.2".

Has anyone ordered this amp from Ikesound? If so, is it the MD2D version, or some other version of the old MD2? The price seems a little low for such a nice amp.

Ask them if the terminals/connections are on the side or on the end.

06 = connections on the side

07 = connections on the ends

I am pretty sure those MD2D's and MD3D's are B-stock 06 models.

Last amp I bought from Ikes was advertised as new, and it was very obviously used. I called them and they still claimed it was new. I explained to them that the screws in the the connection blocks had definitely been used, and the mounting holes in the heat sink were scratched from screws. . . .I will not buy from them anymore. . .

same. i ordered a bunch of hifonics amps back in the day.. they were quite obviously used! scratched heatsinks, missing paperwork, different remote gains, etc

They are usually B-Stock or refurbs

i bought a rf350s from them a while ago, came brand new. included papers , remote , extra screws, serial numbers , everything. works perfect to this day. also got a couple subs and a sealed box through them when i NEEDED a system asap. got everything new.

also, i asked and they said that i could of even went and picked them up from thier warehouse if i wanted cause theyre only a couple hours from me.

i use them to price check against sounddomain so that they lower the price...it works

that was the one and only time i had ordered from them. shortly after that i had found out how shitty they are. i wouldnt reccomend buying from them unless you were to actually go to thier place.

a lot of people look for the lowest prices and dont do research about the company before they buy. i bought from them years ago(prob 6-8 years ago) and never had a problem.
