I have an older US AMPS USA-425 4 channel in mint condition...been sitting in stock room for a while..try 9 years...got it tested..works fine..puts out 36x4 @ 4 ohm..rated at 25x4 @ 4 ohm in manual...got it hooked up...volts at 14.4V..sounds great..nice and clean..just want to know how long it will last...its my first 4 channel...just wanna know if it will last like 2 or 3 years or more...thanks

cool...cause its never been used..not opened just for me to look at and stored in stock...i heard the first thing to go on US Amps is the on/off resisitor...i think it means the big click you hear when it gets power and turns on and off...hoping it last me a good 5 years at least...cause i am really into the old school US amps..maybe get a 4300X next time...hey guys thanks for the help...and also to fix a on/off resisitor its $50 from us amps i believe..ball park..mine is a small one maybe cheaper...thanks again

oh hey...you got a 4300X addisdar..how it running for you?? any problems??..i hear that amp is the nicest 4 channel old school one they made...you got a black or chrome one??

Oh yeah the 5600x the big 5 channel...with 75x4 and a sub output..nice..how long you had it? any problems??

I have 2 of them. Both chrome. I love them both. I have them bridged to 2 channels (180 watts per channel) to power my OZ ME comps (front and rear stage). Cleanest amps I have ever heard. I have never had any problems out of them.

yea 75x 4 @ 4 and 350 x 1 @ 2. its a very clean looking piece of work. i've been running this amp for a couple of months now but this amp is been an amp Sl.ut. been passed around for the last 2 years with numerous people. lol. dual power supply. i've zero problems with the amp. if only this amp was bridgeable. pics //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif:

addisdar..cool..yeah my 425 is its little brother..mine sound clean too...i want the 4300x so bad but its like 450 on buy it now...and i think its too powerful for my alpine doors which are 40w rms and 200 peak

thanks for the pics alphakenny...nice lookin...my amp has nice internals as well..1 question..how come no red power wire internally like say the big 2000 or 2000x...might be because its a 5 channel..not sure..just curious

I currently run a USA-2000x and USA-4300x. They are very nice amps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
