I tell all my friends, If you dont want to get ****ed around with go with sundown. Did they? Well one out of three did and you know what the hifonics guys are doing? Upgrading there electrical system because there in the high 11s.... Lets see which does more power,

Sundown 1500d at 13v

Hifonics 2006 at 11v

^ TBH I dont. But to put sundown customer service up against us amps is rediculus.

actually i like us amps customer service, tech line ANSWERS even after work hours usampfreak is very helpful and super cool.... the rep here is esier to get ahold of then the sundown rep, and our local shop is very upfront us amps has the best customer service, even called me to see how my comp went..... that is just awsome the tech guy from us amps called me a no body to see how the comp went here in hawaii......

I still say there should be a "Sundown hater" Internet tax on their internet bills...... What a freaking huge waste of time/bandwidth.

I think the canadians are hating just because they are jealous.... They get pissed about the cost of importing the Sundown amps because of the duty taxes or whatever you call them... At least that's some of the complaints I have heard that are legitimate. There may be a group of Canadians using Sundown that are going around handing the assess of the other Canadians that are hating over to them and that's why such seething hatred. They might be getting tired of getting "beat-up" at comps, car shows, parking lots, red lights you name it...

With the combination of 06 and a local retailer telling me that Sundown has been into home audio for years and they never built a car sub, I may just not be a dealer any more......Maybe I'll just shove my head up my own *** and claim that Sundown is junk and US Amps is better. Anyone have some Vaseline I can borrow? I got a big ****ing head.

I got a couple Hawaiin and Canadian customers running Sundown I know for sure....

My canadian repair customers typically like the old vintage gear, alot of them running old PPI and Orion gear etc. Which don't get me wrong, that stuff sounds great, and does the job, but your not gonna knock the trunk lid off your coupe deville with that old stuff.....

why you gotta get racist because i feel tat us amps has good customer servuce and that i dont like the 3000d i never said that sundown as a whole suced i said the 3000d was not of the caliber the rest of the amps are....

now you gotta bring my race into this as if my being hawaiian caused me to hate on sundown...

like i stated i like sundown i have sundown ive ran sundown, and i like it i feel that people wanting to buy a used 3000 watt amp can have more luck with another product for the price that the used 3000d goes for that is all i feel the amp is overrated by a little, it does not keep to the standards set by the other models... if you dont like another persons opinion then fackyou, get off ofthe forums because you dont belong here....

every has built the 3000d up to besome supeer amp designed by gods andmade by angels well its not i feel better amps for the used price canbe had

NEW is agreat deal for the power,ipersonally would love to have it be naedthe 2500d for it to bemore impressive and to keep with the rest of the ampsbeng grossly underrated....

how is it ignorant he just claimed himself he saw a hair over 3000 on a 12volt system, and the difference was 8 volt input, something most people dont have, so on a regualr system that hs a regualr pioneer or alpine deck with low voltage you unlikely to see 3000 watts unless you have a line driver and even at that itll be barely above, fluctating from amp to amp, he is rite and i am rite, how is that ignorant, your comment was ignorant.......

Again, Jake never confirmed what you said. Also, the burden of proof is on you good sir, and you have yet to provide any. Also, don't bother with a Velleman handheld o-scope, they are pieces of garbage. Once you get a real o-scope ie. Agilent or something used in the scientific community, then you can talk.

we have 2 sundown reps for hawaii and like 5 team members (although only 3 compete 2 are just in for the discount). and i know every one of them. lots of people run sundownhere and i know most of them, personally on a first name basis, i respect them and compete along side them.

It is my opinion not the opinion of hawaii it is solely my opinion, take it as you will.

i cant stress enuff how this feeling is only towards the 3000d and nothing else that sundown makes........

Do yourself a favor, I think we all get it, you weren't impressed with the SAZ-3000D, I think we FULLY understand that by now, and thank you for sharing your opinion. But do yourself a favor and dont go spouting off about when it clips or that it does't do rated power, or that it's a dirty ***** and all that when you are obviously not a rolling laboratory qualified to do such tests and claim them to be the "end all, or be all" of test results. You didn't even post any numbers that would have to do with the test results.... just claims. There are numbers posted everywhere from people claiming that it far outperformed what you are saying, but yet you post no results to be looked at other than saying it clipped at 2700 watts, and that you gained 1.5dB going to Z1's..... And you never did say whether it was Z1's or Z1a's. And yes that is important because the the Z1a is substantially a larger amp than the SAZ-3000D internally, so that's not even a fair comparison...

if it were a z1a i would post that now wouldnt i...... it was regular z1.... it demolished the 3000d.......
