US Amps AX3200DE vs Sundown 3000D

if both were 650 id grab the 3200...

honestly id never pay more than 500 for the sundown.....

i got my z1 for 500 and im way happy, there a was a full 1.3db gain from the saz3000d to my z1...... but the ax3200 i have heard nothing but good reviews i wish o could get 2 for 650 a pop....

same as you would with a loand except without a load that is called nominal power....
dont gent me wrong price per watt the sundown is well worth the monies, but that is why youl ever see anyone claim it to do 3000 watts clean unclipped, because it doesnt the 1500d on the other hand does a little over rated power it does about 1800 unclipped , it strapped will defeinetly out shine a 3000d

the 3200 is a well built amp..

the only tests under load included box rise.... when we did that test with box rise to 1.9 ohms which is what the ap saw at 50hz the amp maxed out at 1200 watts before clipping....

my z1 did 1700 at 2.8 ohms (different car different setup)

i dont ever see anyone asking for O-scope proof of the saz3000d actually doing rated power its always just a picture of max hold on a fluke, which is invalid because a still picture of a fluke does not show clipping i suggest banning all who claim any amp does more than rated without O-scope proof...

if they were the same pricing id pick up another ax3200d over a sundown alday long. Ive had both amps and highly prefer the USAmp. Sounded better drop in testing and did a little more power at 1ohm then the sundown as well.

You cant go wrong with either choice. I myself choose to run Sundown for the high level of service Jacob provides. Honestly the power difference you would see between the two probably wouldn't even be noticeable to much to the ear. They are both nice quality amps.

i have the velman hand held o-scope, it is suffecient for car stereo aplications...

like i said bardn new pricing is well worth the money not many amps do that power for tht price HOWEVER in MY tests it did not do rated and from my research no one who did real testing ever claimed it did power with out clipping. that is why jake always makes the statement at the end of every test about not know thd on the test...

Yeah I would like to invest in one... What other amps have you tested u Know your like the

first one to oppose Sundown3000 LOL this forum need some diversity
