Now Thats What I'm Talkin Bout !
those are very rare US 100hc's built on the 2000x boards...unlike the earlier models built on 1000x boards...mine do full power at 1ohm instead of 4 ohms...only 4 of these were made before they were bought out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Sup!

I tracked my UPS and it seems that they had it at the UPS warehouse. Anyways; I went there @ 10pm (still open) and got it. Installed it last night.

Nice amp IMHO. I got the package deal for the XT 1600.2 w/ one RE RE 12" sub in the RE custom single ported box (RE custom box).

I went on ahead and bridged it. It sounds pretty **** good. I set the Xover to LFE (which seems like a new feature on amps, but the directions said if bridged to switch the LFE. Today I plan to tune it to low pass, I think my POS Pioneer HU is making my highs clip or sounds like its clipping. It was late so I didn't get the tune / play w/ it much. I did however enjoy the morning ride to work. Been a long time having a car thump //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif / very long time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

** I do not plan to keep using the Re RE 12" sub. IMHO the amp is too much for this sub to handel. I would like to get a Dayton HO 15" and use this amp.

I have three working US AMPs. I have a VLX-400, a USA-150 and a VL-50 and all of them are awesome amps. I also have a md22 that needs repaired. I can't say I'm interested in the XT line but I wouldn't trade my US AMPs for anything.

The XT amps are pretty sad... the XT-4000D is easily the worst thing US Amps has ever even considered putting their name on. It has been tested around 900 RMS (1500 rating) and yet has "4000D" written on it to trick new customers into buying it.

They still make a pretty good amp in the higher lines, though.

I have to agree with you on the XT-4000D. But their AX and Merlin lines are pretty slick. I'd still rather run Sundown over them though. I Just love the old ones.

i have the AXTU4360 and AX600DE..... i am VERY happy. i don't think you can go wrong the the new Merlin or AX series. XT product is overseas product that is bang for the buck ( noob ) stuff.
