Is there anyway to connect the wire to the speaker besides soldering? I am getting ready to go out to get some stuff.

no no no...all you need to do it cut the plug off...dont solder anything, go to the hardware store and buy two female butt splice connectors...like 14-18ga...they will be like 10 cents a piece...this isnt hard people
