Urugent Wiring Help Needed

Here is the problem. My door panel is all apart. I have taken out the speaker. The stock speaker has a plug and adapter that it snaps into..that the wires are allready spliced into. My cdt audio speakers have I guess 2 little prongs on the speaker ( + and - i guess). So what can I do? Since obviosyly you cant put a plug on that?

They are like little prongs..how would u connect the wire to them? Sodder?

And a question about my tweeters..like one set has just bare wires..and the other one is like wires..that go into some kind of plug or adapter..so should I cut off the plug/adapter and then just splice the wires together?

dont cut anything off, get a wiring harness(from let say best buy) and then it should plug right in or solder them.

can you post pics? i was saying if you are using a wiring harness there reakky is no need to cut anything off but if you reall want to solder it you can

cut the stock clip off, but give it about 3 inches, strip factory wire and place it on CDT...when you go to sell it, splice factory harness wire, put factory harness back on and color match...viola

So your just saying cut it off, strip it, sodder it onto speaker? Then if I ever take it off..restrip it, and put the harness back on? If so cool. But theren ot red/black wires..and yes ill get pics. Do you have to sodder it?

just go to best buy and pick up a wiring harness. It will be much easier and you wont have to cut anything while still keeping the resale value.

Tip: If you have a friend that works at best buy, ask him to use his discount,they are marked up way too much

Another quick question..theres a brown wire and a black wire with a red stripe on the harness..which one is the + and which is the -? None are hot to the touch lol..dumb think to do I know but oh well..u can touch both..and no matter which one is on what part of the speaker..it works..wierd?
