Second Skin is fairly cheap or you can go to the local hardware store and buy seal and peal... that works like dynamat, e-dead, second skin, ect... kinda

basically there's not really much to add without making it permanent. becuz in order for it to work, it needs to stick to something. it's not like velcro or anything. remember, loaded mass = less rattles. How does it stay on? it sticks on. Dampin mat won't come off becuz it's meant to stay ON

My sister has a 95' Cadalliac Seville with a suction trunk. Inside her car, it sound so clean. Outside, only the liscense plate rattles.

Point is really, that, is this for YOUR pleasure? Or is it to show off to your buddies? If its not for you, forget about it, cause there isn't much you can do. If its for YOUR pleasure, chances are you cant hear the rattling as much, than if you were outside.

Also, what kind of car do you drive?

you could always seal off your trunk with wood and weather stripping and just break it out when you sell the car or whatever. you wont be able to access anything from the trunk though unless its removable...

Any damping material will not be easy to take out.

when you get rid of the car you can use the damping you have done as a selling point. or if it is a lease, and you let them know maybe explain what it is. if they ask. if you do it right, it wont look bad at all. it may go unnoticed if you take your time.

as far as suggestions go look in to these fine alternatives to the industry leader, Dynamat Extreme:

Raamat

b-quiet extreme

edead

Second Skin Damplifier

also you can do this.

dampen the trunk lid then glue a nice looking piece of carpet that matches the cars interior over the damping. this might look better when you turn it in or sell

it

hope this helps
