I just borrowed this little guy of a buddy of mine

not very beefy internals but surely makes my RSd's sound pretty good, says

its a 200 watt super bass 2 channel, ampguts has a 4 chan model anyone else have any info on this?

Yes. I remember them from the early to mid 90's. Procewise they were entry level but, quite frankly, they were bullet proof. I beleive Sherwood had a hand in the electronics.

my cousin brought that exact same amp up to my shop a few weeks ago. not bad for some mids.

These are rare to find. I actually have one of the urban audio works 12's sitting here as we speak. If I were to ever do an old school build I would definitely jump on some urban audio works.

Yeah..they were good entry level amps. They were on par with the offerings from Targa, LA Sound and early Fultron "Rip Tide" amps.

ha thats good to know my buddy thought it was a POS fleamarket amp its really does make the mids sound pretty good.

There were several models from that series. The one that I liked most was the 6 channel. It was pretty flexible for the day and age.There were also a couple of 4 channels and larger 2 channels. I don't recall their being a mono amp and of course they were all AB class with Hefext supplies. Coustic also used Hexfet during that time. Wow... I'm beginning to have a flashback now. LOL!!! I've been in Car Audio since I was 13......in 1984. Thanks for bringing back some memories!
