Well i ordered a Soundstream Picasso 3500d, after 3 days of use, the bass just kicked out. I thought it was weird so i turned off the cd player for the night. the next day i check it, turnon the car and the amp turns on but no sound output and the longer its on the hotter it gets and i can then smell the hot plastic of some sort. i unplugged the amp, repackaged it, and am ready to resend it somewhere. i contact woofersetc.com with an email last sunday, called them monday about an RA number, emailed again wednesday, and finally no response for over a week now. i finally am just fed up with it and sent them an email last night stateing i would rather just have my money refunded then get it repaired, because first of all, this ruins my setup because i planned to attend a few meets in the near future, which i wouldnt have the amp back from repair from by them. secondly the amp is over 600 bucks after shipping, i think i should get some sort of more curtiosy then just the run around. I am scared they are just going to keep my money and make me keep the broken amp. There is no reason this amp should have done this, in my opinion it was broken on arrival if it breaks after 3 days of use. ive never had any problems with this before, and considering prices there are higher then other websites, i would have thought they would provide BETTER customer service.
