UPS can **** it.....FED EX came early!!!

To tune lower you would have to add port...not cut it.

and if this is for HT I would tune lower. Home Audio...primarily music, 28hz is fine. But for HT when you are trying to recreate the sound of explosions, and earthquakes...material that is subsonic, I would definatly tune in the low 20s high teens.

Tuning low improves your lowend response, but you don't want to tune too far below tuning as your response starts to look funky and group delay starts to look nasty. I'd probably shoot for around 24-25Hz with that driver.

I meant to say that I'm changing the tuning by cutting the port to length. I needed to cut it to tune to 28 but now I WONT cut it if I plan to tune lower.

type b-stock in their search bar, it brings up a diff page.

and for discounts when not buying a product already being discounted somehow, type forum. i think it like 10 - 15% off subs, amps, deadening, and 1/0 wire they make.

Mike-

and also i vouch for 25-26hz as most said.

what's the RMS of that sub?

The port came in yesterday. I knew it was a 4" port 18" long but I didnt quite grasp the magnitude of just how big that actually was. Pics explain.....

I pretty much finished staining the box last night. I had the box raised up a little bit that way I could do the top and 4 sides, then once they dried over night I turned it over this morning and did the bottom face (where the sub and port will be) before I left for work this morning. I have to seal it with polyurethane sealer after the stain sets completely. I'm surprised how well it's coming out, it's really going to look nice I think:yumyum:
