Upgrading without fiberglassing a new box

I want to upgrade from my Atlases without making a new box and false floor.

I have two Atlases in a box fiberglassed into my wheel well, but they JUST barely fit (6.5" Depth x 6" Mag Diameter). What are my options?

make a spacer ring to go between the subwoofer and the box. That will give you 3/4" or however thick the MDF is that you use
