maybe u will get lucky but u wont find too many ppl who will reccomend them for car audio applications

but its decent? why does it have less CCA?

i mean it was $200 has to be decent? haha

cca doesnt mean jack for car audio u want to loook at reserve and ah (amp hours)..i woulda went to canadian tire and got.the nautilus agm for.that money ..optimas are just overpriced and not.as good as they used.to be

i find that hard to believe..every one ive ever walked in had those....ur new batt is a agm and better than the one u had but who knows how long it will last ..ive seen them crap out and stop holding charge ..but maybe u got lucky and got a good one ..if u were gona pay thst much u shoulda just ordered a xs3400

yeah.. they really didnt have any haha... ill be installing my red top tommorow.

do u suggest the duracell agm batteries for inside the trunk aswell?

im running 1500rms on my subs now, but when i upgrade im thinking im gonna buy a 3-5k amp for subs and 2k for speakers maybe? how many of these would i need ( if they get them in stock by then )

Red tops are fine. They had some problems many years ago and Johnson Controls bought them and built a brand new plant. Optimas are still the most popular batts in car audio.

Entirely false. Barely anyone who knows what they're doing runs Optima. If you're going to drop that much money on a battery you might as well go with XS or Odyssey or something similar.

Optima still sells 10x more batts than XS and Odyssey combined. Must be alot of people that don't know what they're doing.....

But I guess if you are just following current trends then Optima is pretty boring.

Odysseys are nice but I wouldn't spend my money on a Chinese XS battery.

Optima has a larger market, but not neccessarily in car audio. Especially with people who are more educated.
