i think you are worrying too much, go to sams ask them what is the biggest agm battery they could put under the hood and call it a day. then later on when you need to put batts on the trunk, get the biggest mutha facka out there lol

google your area for refurbished or rebuilt batteries, if you have one compare the price they will know what battery they can fit in your hood, i got a yellow top from one of those places for $56

A new battery will still hold voltage better and rest higher. I'd only use a reconditioned battery if you weren't running audio equipment, you need all the reserves you can get.

Yellow tops are made by Optima, almost exactly the same as a Duracell AGM so don't worry about it. And get a new battery, not used.

yellow tops **** ..they are not like duracells ..duracells are made by east penb same as deka and plenty other rebadged parts warehouse stores..i wouldnt take a yellow top unless it was to make profit off a sucker

You're talking about reconditioned, and no reconditioned batteries are not more powerful than a new battery. They have less life than a new battery and will not have as much capacity or hold as much voltage.

yeah isnt really anything near me like that, im in canada.. so ill be going over the border to sams lol, border is like 5 min drive from me to the rainbow bridge, ill be going tonight or in the morning and asking for the biggest agm battery that will fit in my 06 malibu 3.5l lol
