1 min you admit you did a terrible install, the next you blame it on the sub.Rl-P's don't like a lot of power, so probably not much at all. I used to have an Infinty Perfect running from 250 watts rms, and the upgraded to an RL-P with 1200 watts, and from listening to the new one it barely sounded any louder. Then i swapped out the RL-P for an XXX and it was like comparing a finger snap to a sonic boom. RL-P's really aren't good SPL subs at all, but it did have very nice sound quality.
I love how no one has ever adressed this issue. So tell me, if my install is so "bad" (i didn't even do it, a shop did) why is the XXX perfectly fine in my install when the RL-P was not? (it wasn't bad, just not impressive or anything, sounded like any other 12 out there). Since the XXX needs way more space than an RL-P, if the problem really was 100% install, would the XXX be bad as well? But it's not. Have fun with that one.1 min you admit you did a terrible install, the next you blame it on the sub.
get a clue dude.
the rl-p is a great sub; i would recommend switching to it in a heartbeat.
1. I didn't say it isn't a good sub, I just said don't excpect a significant increase in SPLrlp not a good spl sub?????? the rlp will get LOUD and sound good doing it.... read this thread here are my test results......... http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=6258
now granted the box was optimized for the m3's still got better results from the Rlp's and they sounded better doing it.....
deff. they dont compare to the cvr's in spl or sq....... and yes the rlp will take 1200 rms daily and sound awsome and will get loud... deff a great choice in sub....
