diamond audio subs?????

does any one have any input on the diamond audio d6's or the new d9's 12" subwoofers. This guy at the local shop said the d9's can hold up to the jl w7's 13" and the d6's were comparable to the w6's. any feed back would be great . thinking of buying a d6

I have heard the D6's before and I would say the SQ is much better than on the W7's. Both the W6's from JL and the D6's from diamond I think are very nice SQ subs. Haven't listened to the new D9's though. But I would agree that in the SQ department the D6's will beat out the W7 and be close to the W6 series.

Honestly, i had the d6 and wasnt impressed. They are good subs for the money, but personally i prefer the w6v2 over it, I also prefer the soundsplinter rl-p over it, and the ss is the sub i just odered after months of research and listening

Thanks for the input guys.I did look into the ss but diamond is what i think im going with d6's.the d9's are a bit pricey still maybe all upgrade to it later if it comes down any.

D6 = W6

D9 = W7 comparitivly speaking....

I have never owned a W7,but heard one or 2 at stores and such.

I have owned D6s and D9s and in the right exclosure they perform

pretty fvcking good and thats all I am saying...If you feel the need

to spend the extra money on the JL go for it but your ears wont be disatisfied

with a DA subwoofer.
