I was running an MTX Tunder TC4001 mono block (475RMS) now my Hifonics Bxi 1606d just came in and i swapped out the mtx im running 4awg wire for everything and my sub wire is 12awg, my subs are putting out a final load of 2ohms so the amp should be putting out 1000+RMS with everything running great, my problem is the mtx made my subs hit wayyy harder?!, i know probly with not having a HO alty that i wont see the full potential of the new amp so i swapped out the numbers when setting my gains to alot lower , and well its just disapointing even if i bring the gains up, and it doesnt hit as low?..any one?
