Can I mess up my amp if I ran an 8 ohm sub?

The thing is, it's a monoblock amp. It's a Kicker Kx1200.1 running a 6.5" sub. I know what you're thinking.. "is this guy f**king stupid or what?". lol... But I did have a 15" L7 connected to it, but I sold it. Now I'm using a temporary sub from a surround sound system for just some bass. But it does hit really hard for a 6.5". This system is connected in my house room. So can this amp go as high as 8 ohms?

itll run fine jsut means the sub wont get *** much power..

i ripped out 2x 6" woofers from my old speakers and they **** hehe but none the less they add some bass

I have the bass on -20 on my 860mp, lol. But it does hit really hard with clean bass.
