are there any pros/cons to this in a trunk car? i have a 96 maxima. i was wondering if having the subs fire upwards and port firing towards the back of the car, will it make my trunk lid rattle ridiculously? i dont have sound deadener in my car, so i know it will have some kind of rattle already.

opposed to just having the subs and port firing towards the back of the car.

i think it will be the same because in both, they are still firing at the trunk lid, am i correct? input please.

buddy of mine had a 96 maxima with 3 12"s sealed firing into the trunk.. rattled like mad. But, you might want to try subs forward and port forward or up. So there is nothing that fires "into" the trunk, its just used for box space.

another friend had a setup like this in an accord (2 12" L7s on a kx1200.1) everything firing forward... 141.4 db not too bad.
