Let me take the pleasure of annoucing to you ca.com junkies that my system now works!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
Today I decided to go through all the wiring very carefully, starting with the power wire. I immediately noticed they didn't crimp it well, and only got like half the wire in the ring terminal. So I went to Home Depot to buy a new ring terminal and quickly fixed that problem and repositioned the fuse holder since I had to slice about a quarter inch off the wire.
After the power/ground wire checked out, I moved on to my subwoofers.
After I pulled my subwoofers out, I cursed the stupidity of Best Buy. I told them exactly how to wire the subwoofers last Saturday, yet they managed to screw up. The only thing that was correct was the jumpers and that's because I adjusted them myself in front of the "experts" and told them to wire the speaker wire to the 1st positive and the 2nd negative (the jumper was hooked to the 2nd negative and the 1st postive). Instead, they wired it as such: 1st postive to 2nd negative. I don't know what kind of impendence the amp saw but it sure didn't work. After fixing that problem and hooking up the subs, sweet, sweet bass music flowed freely from the two 12" Type-R's.

I then proceed to adjust the gain, LPF, etc. and let me tell you.. it sounds great! I took it over to my brother-in-law, who's a professional DJ, and had him listen to it and he said it was purely amazing. The bass was very crisp and clear and it had one hell of a punch too.
AND NOW.. pictures!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif
I know the amp is missing the speaker wire. This was when I took the wire out to inspect it inch by inch.
You can't even see anything with the back closed. I plan on buying a lock and threading it through the handles and attaching it to the car.
