*UPDATE* on engine/****** noise *PIC*

was it making the sound the first time you fired it up after the 2nd throw out?
Nope, but when I went for a drive it made the noise for like 2 seconds while making a left turn at speed.

Fired the car up the next day and while it was idling it was making the noise real loud, and when clutch was pushed in, the noise went away.

Hasn't done it at idle since.

It still does it going around corners, or you're not driving it?
Only when making left turns at speed, but when clutch is pushed in, noise goes away

Here is a quote from a guy over at Honda-Tech.com

Mine does the same thing, like a tat tat tat metal sqeel sound. I replaced my flywheel, clutch and throwout bearing and it started making that noise. Take a look at the clutch fork near the slave cylinder with the car running in neutral, mine is shaking and making noise, my guess is the ball stud that the fork rides on and/or the fork itself is worn. I even lubricated mine when I installed it.

Did you make a thread over there? Link plz.
These cars have tons of problems with the slave cylinders.
I replaced the slave cylinder about a year ago.

The thread is a exact copy and paste of this thread, with only one reply so far, and that's the one I quoted. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

:O I replaced my clutch/flywheel thinking that was the problem when it was just the slave cylinder //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif lol

I can't tell where the sound is coming from because I'm going 45 mph making a left turn, LOL.
When I started the car the one day and it was making the noise when idling, I couldn't tell where it was coming from...but I only looked for like 5 seconds because I had to leave.

you need a midget to ride under your hood then swing that turn lol.

Wouldn't explain the noise while idling, but if you get noise under power while turning might want to check your cv's.

And for the noise while idling are you sure you don't have two different sounds/issues even if they sound similar? Its an old car, you may be tracking down two separate issues...

Same noise, 100% positive, no questions asked. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif
